Day 107 In the NICU

I had a wonderful day today. Stacey was my nurse, she always makes me smile.

I have been eating very well with my mouth. The Dr said I can try 6 times a day now.

I weigh 3070 grams 6 lbs 12 oz

Day 106 In the NICU

I am having an extra good day today. I ate good yesterday and even better today.

They moved my oxygen down from .5 liter to .25 liters.

Kristie was my day nurse today. She is funny. She likes to hold me and she makes me smile.

Stacey helped me write a new note to my nurses :)

Day 105 In the NICU

I am feeling better today. I was a little tired yesterday because of the ride from the other hospital.

I ate good for mom today.

Scott (my speech therapist) came in yesterday and gave me a bottle.  He still talks to me like a big boy. I love it!

Leita and Savannah came to visit, it's the last day that they can come visit me in the hospital due to the RSV season.

Day 104 In the NICU (Moving day Again!)

I am now back to my birth hospital:) They moved me first thing this morning.
My new room has two windows  and it's very nice.

Stacey was my nurse today. She is great.

Mom tried to feed me but I was too pooped from the supper exciting ride.
So tonight mom tried to feed me again and it was a supper disappointment for both of us. I hope we can get over our differences soon so I can eat with my mouth more :)

Day 103 In the NICU

I am moving back to my "birth hospital" tomorrow!

I am so happy, now that my intestines are staying in my belly:)

They took my IV out today. I am feeling very good.

I lost some water weight after they took all the stuff off of me and out of me.

Mom thinks I look like myself again. (maybe even happier)

I weigh 2755 grams 6 lbs 1 oz ( no joke)

Day 102 In the NICU

Today mom caught me trying to take the CPAP off my face. It was funny.

The Dr decided to let me go back to a regular nasal cannula because I was doing so well on the CPAP. (or at least half of the CPAP.

They have pushed my drugs back to as needed instead of every four hours.
I am eating 30mL of milk through my nose. Hopefully tomorrow I can eat with my mouth again. That would be so much better than this tube.

Day 101 In the NICU

Today was a very busy day.

I was extubeated, I am now on CPAP. 

I had my eyes checked. They are the same. They will check them again in two weeks.

I still have an IV but I am eating more (through my nose) so soon I can get rid of it. I am up to 30 ml with each feeding.

Good news The insurance company said they would cover me moving back to the other hospital so I can be closer to home.

My Nurse gave me a new Frog, and Mom got a new blanket at the Parent support meeting today. It's like Christmas early.

The OT/PT people came in today and did an assessment. I still have tight muscles but they said they can help me with that.
