Day 4 at Home

I had another wonderfully long night with Mom.

Today we spent all day at home. My sister Breanna and I had so much fun with Mom.

Mom tells me I am doing a great job with all my duties here at home. Eat, sleep and poop. I am a champ.



Day 3 at Home

I have never felt so much love, or gotten so much attention. My sisters love me.

I enjoy staying up all night with Mom.

I had my first Dr. appointment today. Shane Christensen is my Dr. He was great.

Mom took me to the DMV today to get a handicap placard for our car. I think the Dr's gave it to my mom because she feels handicap when she is trying to carry me and all my equipment around. It couldn't be because I am handicapped.

I weigh 7 lbs 1 oz

Day 2 at Home

Things are going well here at the Johnson home. My sisters love me and want to touch me all the time. I am learning how to adjust to all the attention. I have a Dr. apt tomorrow morning first thing. I hope all is well.
Mom has kept me mostly in our room because of the Oxygen and monitor. I am still working on getting familiar with the sounds and smells of my new house. I miss all my wonderful Nurses at IMC.

Day 111 In the NICU

I AM HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night Mom and Dad slept at the hospital, well stayed at the hospital all night. Mom was up most of the night trying to get me to settle down. Jess was my nurse, she is supper dupper nice to me.



This is my new home! Joann did a great job on the welcome home sign. Thanks aunt Joann!

Good by IMC! We will miss you and all the wonderful people that work there

I got Kristie again, after Jess went home. She made sure mom and dad knew all the right things before she let them take me home.

This is my Dad he is the best dad I have ever had!





Day 110 In the NICU

Today has been another wonderful day here in the NICU.  Kristie S. was my nurse today and she always takes good care of me. My Mom and Dad are going to have a sleepover tonight to help them get to know the equipment that I will be going home with. They celebrated their 10 year anniversary yesterday. That is a long time in baby years.

Natalie Boss came to visit me today. She used to be one of my Primary Nurses.

I weigh 3170 grams 6 lbs 15 oz

Day 109 In the NICU

I have had a wonderful day today. Dr Beachy said I can most likely go home on Saturday!

I passed my hearing test yesterday:)
I am feeling good and eating all my food through my mouth.

Mom told me that my sisters are excited for me to come home.

They tested me today to see if I still need Oxygen in my nose....I do, mom took pictures of me without the nasal cannula.

I weight 3195 grams 7 lbs (No water weight this time)

Day 108 In the NICU

My eyes are mature!!! This is a major milestone.

The charge nurse said if all goes well I will be going home in the next week or so!

I have been eating very well the last couple of days and I have gained weight.

I weigh 3070 grams 6 lbs 13 oz

This is my newest room, not much different than the one I had before.
